25 Burns Night
Robert Burns was born in Alloway, Scotland, on January 25, 1759. His birthday has been celebrated since 1802 with a Burns Supper which includes haggis, neeps and tatties, rounded off with drams of whisky. Buy your haggis (a type of sausage made of sheep’s stomach stuffed with oatmeal mixed with offals) from these butchers in London & the South East. The Story

Fat Tuesday is a five day town wide celebration with the free gigs, gatherings, parties and parades alongside ticketed events. Founded by Bob Tipler, who, inspired by New Orleans Mardi Grass, started it with his band The Cajun Dawgs. Album. The Story
