The subway was built by Charles Barry in 1865 to connect the High Level Station with The Crystal Palace Exhibition under the Crystal Palace Parade. After 15 years of planning & restoration it is open again to the public on selected dates throughout the year. More info.

Selhurst Park Stadium is 100 Years Old
In 1924 Crystal Palace FC moved into their new Selhurst Park Stadium. It was designed by Archibald Leitch (1865-1939). The club was founded in 1861 and originally played in Crystal Palace Exhibition Park (leaving in 1915).
