A brand new adaptation by the Moving Places Theatre Co of Thackeray's tale of greed, ambition, love and betrayal with a score of original music. Set in the open this is one not to be missed. The Company was set up in 2023 on the back of Joanna Nevin and Martin South’s highly successful tour of their bold and inventive Macbeth, and combines the artistic visions of South, Nevin and Simona Hughes.

14-21 June: Independent Bookshop Week 2025
Independent Bookshop Week will feature 100 events across 60 bookshops, with participation rising to a 739 independent stores nationwide. Bestselling authors Philip Pullman, Mike Gayle, Elif Shafak, and L. D. Lapinski will headline events including cookery book clubs, city music history tours, cinema screenings & poetry readings.

Greek basement bar opens in Borough Market
Agora, modelled after a relaxed Greek taverna (walk-in only), has opened in Borough market. Upstairs is Oma, a more formal restaurant. Both are run by David Carter of Manteca fame.
